I have traveled extensively through East and West Africa. I started off with a 3-month internship in Senegal and The Gambia, followed by voluntary work in Uganda and Kenya and another 3-month internship in Ghana. The internships were part of my Bachelor and Master in Health Sciences. I’ve written a book about my experiences as a research intern in Ghana for Hardthaven, Ghana’s HIV/AIDS Children’s Home. Unfortunately, the book is only published in Dutch and available through the publisher, Free Musketeers. Whilst in Kenya, I supported the Journey Outreach Team.
